In the course of recording interviews, the NA has scanned the personal photos and documents (registration papers, land deeds, marriage licenses, birth certificates, etc.) which refugees brought with them from Palestine. The NA now has an expanding collection of family photographs and historic documents gathered primarily from refugees living in the camps. These materials are being developed into a series of audiovisual projects which will be available online.
An interview with Clemence Sayigh about her collection of 140 family photographs from Palestine will soon be available online. These photographs document Clemence’s childhood in the Ramallah in the 1930s and 40s, and her life as a young woman living in Gaza City in the early 1950s.
